For a current-rule Model 3 RWD delivered on June 5, 2025 with 10,000 miles, this estimator compares a four-year/50,000-mile Basic limit with an eight-year/100,000-mile Battery and Drive limit. If either time or mileage is already exhausted, that coverage is shown as Expired.

How it works

A rule is used only when its delivery-date range, model, and exact trim category safely match. The expiry date adds the published number of years to first delivery. Remaining days and miles are calculated independently, because the first limit ends coverage.

Data sources and limitations

This initial rule file deliberately does not infer historical terms. A delivery before June 5, 2025 or an unsupported Model 3/Y trim returns Unable to determine rather than applying today terms.

Current official categories use specific trim names. To avoid assigning the wrong mileage limit, this tool requires an exact supported current category.

Does Tesla CPO add warranty coverage?

Tesla describes an additional Basic coverage term after original Basic coverage, but its start requires Tesla CPO delivery facts. This tool does not invent those facts.
